All Tourists, ‘Mumbai to Mumbai’ reported at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport, Mumbai, as per the respective flight departure time to proceed to Baku—the capital and the largest city on the Caspian Sea and in the Caucasus Region. Upon arrival at the
airport, the tour manager guided all guests with airport
formalities and lead the way to Gabala - beautiful
part of Azerbaijan with a rich and ancient history.
Many of tourists were about to join, from
other Indian metro cities such as Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai, Kolkata,
Ahmedabad, Delhi, etc., travelled independently as per their respective flight booked the travel agency. Upon arrival, Veena World Tour Manager will meet these
guests at the airport and guide them with airport formalities and lead the way
into the city.
Our flight on Azerbaijan Airlines was not comfortable, and there was very little leg space and the side walkway was very narrow. There had been no TV screen on the back side of the chair for entertainment, resulting in a quite boring journey. Some passengers have reported a lack of comfort on Azerbaijan Airlines flights, including issues with cabin temperature and seat comfort, as well as concerns about crew friendliness and sluggish services.
Enroute we enjoyed a cable car ride to
Tufandag Mountain - the third highest mountain in Azerbaijan with the height of
13770 feet. Followed by a photo stop at Nohur Lake - one of the most ancient places of Azerbaijan. It is a combination of mountainous landscape and diverse fauna. Here we
enjoy boat ride which provides stunning views of forests and high mountains.

Day 2 / 13-Apr-2025
Gabala – Sheki – Gabala
On 2nd day of the tour, we visited Sheki - a charming city
nestled in the picturesque landscapes of Azerbaijan. Upon arrival, we visit the
Palace of Shaki Khans - was a summer residence for the Shaki
khans - who were in charge of controlling Shaki.
Further we visited
Church of Kish – a beautiful Caucasus Albanian Temple
and according to one of the legends, it was built in the 1st century AD and is
the first Christian temple in the world. Later we take a photo
stop at Sheki Karvansaray - a historical monument in Sheki, a part of building is now used as a hotel.

Day 3 / 14-Apr-2025
Gabala – Baku (1 Night)
On 3rd day of the tour, we proceed to return journey of Baku city. Upon arrival we visited Shirvanshah Palace—a UNESCO World Heritage Site that was the former residence of the rulers of the Shirvanshahs. Later we explored Baku city. We passed by Old Town—the historical core of Baku and the most ancient part of Baku, which is surrounded by walls that were easily defended; Maiden Tower—a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a symbol of Baku city; Fountain Square - a public square in Baku city and a location where the city authorities hold many public festivals, shows, and celebrations; National Flag Square—the flagpole was confirmed as the world's tallest by the Guinness Book of Records; and TV Tower—a free-standing concrete telecommunications tower and the tallest structure in Azerbaijan and the tallest reinforced concrete building in the Caucasus.

Day 4 / 15-Apr-2025
Baku – Shahdag – Quba (1 Night)
On 4th day of the tour, we proceeded to Shahdag - a land of ancient glaciers, majestic valleys, and stunning mountain lakes. Here we enjoyed a cable car ride and admired the Greater Caucasus ranges. Those who are with an adventurous spirit can experience thrilling activities like skiing, Paragliding, snow tubing, Snow-mobile etc. at an additional personal cost. There had been many more activities at the mountain like sledding, skiing, the Shahdag Coaster, Snowmobile tour , Polaris tours, Zip-Line etc., Our Night Stay at Shahdag Stay was at Shahdag Resorts and Spa. There had been snowfall during whole night, experiencing cold climatic condition and enjoyment. Later we proceeded to Quba—a small charming city at the foot of the mighty Caucasus Mountains in the north of Azerbaijan. Here we walked through Red Village - the only entirely Jewish settlement outside of Israel and the United States.

Day 5 / 16-Apr-2025
Quba – Yanardag – Baku (2 Nights)
On 5th day of the tour, we proceeded to Baku. En route, we visited Yanar Dag—also known as Burning Mountain, which blazes continuously on a hillside on the Absheron Peninsula. Further, we visit Ateshgah - ancient Zoroastrian Temple which was visited by Mahatma Gandhi and Tzar Nicholas. We then visited Gala Archaeological and Ethnographic Museum, a well-known open-air historical and ethnographic museum. Scientists have found the evidence showing that the first settlements on the site of Gala village appeared at least 5,000 years ago.

Day 6 / 17-Apr-2025
Baku – Gobustan National Park – Baku
On 6th day of the tour, we visited Gobustan National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, which is famous for the ancient carvings, cave paintings, and gas-stones. It is also home to remains of inhabited caves, burials and other human settlements from just after the last Ice Age through to the Middle Ages. Upon arrival we see mud volcanoes—Azerbaijan is home to nearly a third of the world's mud volcanoes. Later we proceeded back to Baku. Upon arrival we take a photo stop at Heydar aliyev centre - one of the signature architectural landmarks of modern Baku and Azerbaijan Further, we visited the Carpet Museum-—the only museum that was dedicated to the art of carpet weaving. The main purpose of the creation of the museum was to store, research, and demonstrate unique examples of the carpet weaving art. Highland Park, well known as ‘’Viewing Square’’, Flame Towers, a trio of skyscrapers in Baku, Baku’s long history of fire, worshiping provided the inspiration for the development of this iconic design. Later we walk through Nizami Street - one of the best place to roam around the city. Followed by a beautiful boat ride at “Little Venice of Baku”.

Day 7 / 18-Apr-2025
Baku—Departure
Today it was our 7th day of the tour, we visited Juma Mosque in Shamaki—one of Azerbaijan's largest and most lavish places of worship. This mosque was built in AH 126 (743/744), from the ligature on the facade of the Juma Mosque, based on the geological survey of Tiflis, led by Prince Shahgulu Qajar. Around this time, the construction of mosques began in the territory of Azerbaijan. The Diri-Baba Mausoleum, a blend of ancient history, beautiful surroundings, and cultural significance, makes it a memorable destination for anyone visiting Azerbaijan. 10:45 The city of Shamakhi is the ancient capital of the medieval Shirvan kingdom. Juma Masjid, Shamkhi is a historic mosque that was built during the reign of Arab commander Muslim Ibn Abd-al Malik, the chaplain of the Caliphate in the Caucasus and Dagestan. The mosque is located in the city of Shamakhi, which was chosen as a residence by the Umayyad Caliph Walid I (705-715).
We proceeded to the Hyder Ali Airport for return journey to our Country.
