Tour to San Diego 19th December, 2024





Day 1: Begin Your Tour • Arrive in San Francisco:

On the 1st day of the Tour to San Diego, we have our flight from San Francisco to San Diego at 11:30 pm night and we had a road journey by cab, which has to be parked at the rented premises parking. But while traveling to the airport, we got the SMS about our flight from San Francisco to San Diego being canceled by the airline, Southwest, informing us that the amount is being refunded at the account from which the debit was raised. The reason for the cancellation of the flight was specified as stormy rain.

On arrival at the airport, the travel agency arranged the food packets as snacks and informed the group about the itinerary The travel from San Francisco to San Diego is being arranged by 10-seater Volvo AC bus or cab. 

After having a tea and coffee along with snacks, we boarded into the Bus, along with our luggage, and our journey began. It had been a 12-hour journey.

The quickest and most direct route is to take the I-5, which is around 500 miles (800 kilometers). In perfect circumstances, it might take eight or nine hours, but in practice, with traffic, breaks for food and petrol, and stretching, it frequently takes ten hours or longer. A large portion of the I-5 road passes through the Central Valley, which is monotonous due to its abundance of agriculture and open areas.

Day 2: San Diego city tour and check in the Airbnb accommodation.
On the 2nd day of the tour to San Diego, our bus reached the city of San Diego at 7am, and the tour manager announced breakfast at the restaurant. After having continental breakfast in the restaurant, our bus started the journey to the location for check-in at the Airbnb accommodation. We heard about the stay at the Airbnb accommodation, which was supposed to be comfortable, and it was true. The location of the Airbnb accommodation was beautiful. We got a positive experience with a stay booked through Airbnb; the space was well-designed, aesthetically pleasing, and possibly offered unique features or amenities with a sufficient number of rooms.

After checking in at the accommodation, we freshened up, and we proceeded to the city tour of San Diego. The tour manager described San Diego by saying that when travelers dream of the true Southern California vacation, they dream about San Diego. 70 miles (112 km) of beautiful beaches, swaying palm trees, and a year-round, nearly perfect climate define the US's 8th largest city.

Day 3: San Diego city tour and night stay.
On 3rd day of the tour to San Diego, we proceeded to the old town San Diego, dating back to the early 1800s. Old Town San Diego is the first Spanish settlement on the US West Coast and features historic sites, with popular areas for shopping, entertainment, and restaurants.

Later on, We proceeded to SEAWORLD San Diego's SeaWorld, which is situated on picturesque Mission Bay, offers hundreds of exhibits with marine life from all over the world, exciting rides, six main shows, and entertaining family attractions and We saw the USS Midway Museum and the National Monument of Cabrillo, located atop picturesque Point Loma, Cabrillo National Monument honors California's discovery in 1542 and provides breathtaking views of the city center, San Diego Bay, and the surrounding area.

2. SeaWorld Aquarium.
3. USS Midway Museum. 

Day 4: San Diego city tour and night stay.
On 4th day of the tour to San Diego, we proceeded to BALBOA PARK. The San Diego Zoo, stunning Spanish Colonial Revival architecture, lovely gardens, 17 distinct museums, and well-liked outdoor leisure may all be found in Balboa Park, the biggest urban cultural park in the United States.  Later on we visited the Breaches and enjoyed water sports activities.  The stunning beaches of San Diego include Torrey Pines State Park, which is surrounded by striking 300-foot sandstone cliffs, and Coronado Beach, which has white sand beaches. Popular year-round activities include swimming, kayaking, diving, snorkeling, surfing, paddle boarding, sailing, and sport fishing.

Day 2: San Francisco City Tour

We move on to the hop-on-hop-off tour of San Francisco today, where our guide recounts the history of the city and shows out famous landmarks.
