Tour to Nainital & Mussoorie (India)
The city of Nainital built
up around Lake Naini, which is the source of its name. Part of the Indian state of Kumaon, this hill
area is a popular honeymoon resort with a legendary background. It is hardly surprising that the area is
referred to as the Lake District of India given its environment, which is
littered with numerous lakes, including Tallital, Mallital, Sattal, and
Bhimtal. The mountains around Nainital
are covered in a maze of picturesque trekking routes.
In
the Dehradun District of the northern Indian state of Uttarakhand sits the hill
station and municipal board known as Mussoorie.
It is roughly 290 kilometers north of New Delhi, the nation's capital,
and 35 kilometers from Dehradun, the state capital. The hill station is located in the Garhwal
Himalayan range's foothills. Located in Uttarakhand's Nainital district, Jim
Corbett National Park is a component of the larger Corbett Tiger Reserve, a
Project Tiger Reserve. The tiger
richness of Corbett's enchanted scenery has made it famous and legendary. Originally created as Hailey National Park in
1936, Corbett boasts the distinction of being the oldest and most esteemed
National Park in India.
